Verification Standards

Carbon standards are the technical elements of the project that measure a project’s carbon reduction capacity. Climate Bridge’s projects are verified by the world’s highest standards:

Gold Standard: The Gold Standard provides certification for both Compliance and Voluntary credits. GS Certification standards for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects require that the projects meet both carbon reduction criteria as well as provide the auxiliary benefit of promoting sustainable development.

VCS Voluntary Carbon Standard: The Voluntary Credit Standard provides certification for Voluntary Credits. Certification requirements ensure that credits obtained from VCS verified projects have additional, measurable and permanent carbon reduction results.

CDM UNFCC: The CDM provides certification for Compliance Credits by issuing renewable energy or energy efficiency projects with Certified Emissions Reductions, CERs. The CDM registration process is public providing a transparent assessment of project attributes according to rigorous standards.
