Nan'Ao Wind

Description

The Nan'Ao Wind Power Project is a wind power project located on the windy island of Nan Ao in Guangdong Province. The energy generated by the project will be sold to the Guangdong Provincial Power Grid, an integral part of the South China Power Grid. Energy generated by the Nan'Ao project replaces energy provided by grid connected fossil fuel power plants in the South China Power Grid.

The project’s estimated annual energy output is 57, 595 MWh. The projects estimated annual emissions reductions is 53,425 tCO2e.

The project offers nearly fifty jobs for local resident and utilizes domestically produced, state of the art wind turbines.
